Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 Golden Oreos, chopped
- 1 cup strawberry jam
- Crushed Golden Oreos for decoration
For the Oreo Cream:
- 1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Filling from 6 Golden Oreos
Instructions:
- For the cake: Preheat the oven to 350Ā°F (180Ā°C). Grease and flour a round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to the butter mixture alternately with the milk and vanilla.
- Gently fold in the chopped Golden Oreos.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- For the Oreo Cream: In a bowl, beat the butter until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Once mixed, incorporate the Oreo filling and beat until smooth and creamy.
