  1. 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  2. 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  3. 4 eggs
  4. 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  5. 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  6. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  7. 1 cup milk
  8. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  9. 12 Golden Oreos, chopped
  10. 1 cup strawberry jam
  11. Crushed Golden Oreos for decoration

For the Oreo Cream:

  1. 1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, at room temperature
  2. 2 cups powdered sugar
  3. 2 tablespoons milk
  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  5. Filling from 6 Golden Oreos

Instructions:

  1. For the cake: Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to the butter mixture alternately with the milk and vanilla.
  4. Gently fold in the chopped Golden Oreos.
