Decadent Triple Crust Peach Delight: A Flaky Bliss
Indulge in the richness of our Triple Crust Peach Cobbler—a symphony of flaky layers enveloping succulent peaches. Here's how to create this delightful treat:
Ingredients
- – 3 Packages (11 ounces each) Betty Crocker™️ pie crust mix
– 1 cup cold water
– 1 1/2 cups sugar
– 3/4 cup melted butter or ghee
– 2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
– 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
– 2 small spoons of lemon extract
– 2 cans (29 ounces each) chopped peaches in syrup, undrained
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix one package of pie crust mixture with 1/3 cup cold water until a ball forms. Flatten into an 11×8-inch rectangle, cut into 4 strips (11 by 2 inches each), and bake on an un-greased cookie sheet for 17 minutes. Set aside.
- Repeat the crust mixture process, fitting the flattened ball into the bottom and sides of an un-greased rectangular baking dish (13 x 9 x 2 inches). Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine sugar, nutmeg, melted butter, cinnamon, vanilla, lemon extract, and undrained peaches. Pour half of the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Arrange 4 pastry strips on top, then pour the remaining peach mixture over them.
- Mix another pie crust package with 1/3 cup cold water, flatten into the shape of the baking dish, cut several holes, and place it on top of the peach mixture. Seal the edges.
- Bake for an hour. Allow it to cool, and for optimal results, refrigerate the cobbler covered before serving. Relish in the joy of this exquisite Triple Crust Peach Cobbler!
