- – 35 grams ¼ cup flour
For the butter cake:

- – 100 grams ½ cup sugar
- – 2 eggs
- – 120 grams 1 cup flour
- – ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- – 50 ml fresh milk
Instructions
- Grease and line a 10cm x 20cm rectangular loaf pan.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- To make the brownie, melt chocolate and butter over low heat. Remove from heat once melted and let it cool slightly.
- Add brown sugar and mix until combined.
- Once cooled, add the egg and mix well.
- Incorporate the flour, mixing until well combined. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and quickly prepare the butter cake batter.
- Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift in the flour and baking powder, slowly add fresh milk, and mix until a consistent batter forms.
- Pour the butter cake batter over the partially baked brownie and bake for an additional 25 to 30 minutes or until fully cooked. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center; it should come out clean.
- Once done, unmold and let it cool.
