Seafood Boil Garlic Butter Sauce

- - 3 sticks unsalted butter
- - 3 tablespoons minced garlic
- - 1/4 cup finely diced onion
- - 1/2 tablespoon minced ginger
- - 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
- - 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- - 1/2 tablespoon paprika
- - 1/2 tablespoon chili powder
- - 1 teaspoon black pepper
- - 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- - Juice of half a lemon
- - 1/2 cup chicken broth
- - 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
Add minced garlic, diced onion, and minced ginger. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in Old Bay seasoning, brown sugar, paprika, chili powder, oregano, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and add lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
