Ingredients
  

  • - 3 sticks unsalted butter
  • - 3 tablespoons minced garlic
  • - 1/4 cup finely diced onion
  • - 1/2 tablespoon minced ginger
  • - 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • - 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • - 1/2 tablespoon paprika
  • - 1/2 tablespoon chili powder
  • - 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • - 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • - Juice of half a lemon
  • - 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • - 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions
 

  • In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  • Add minced garlic, diced onion, and minced ginger. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  • Stir in Old Bay seasoning, brown sugar, paprika, chili powder, oregano, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and add lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve the sauce over your favorite seafood boil or use it as a dipping sauce. Enjoy!
